Jonathan Gonen


Jonathan Gonen is a founding member of disruptive technology companies (Curious Minds, TeleSign, and TSN Advertising) that have collectively raised over $80 million in venture capital. He has held a seat on the Board of Directors for Ringadoc (acquired), LoanMart (acquired), BrandReporter (acquired), and TeleSign (acquired).   

Jonathan received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Emory University. Recently he was honored by his alma mater with the prestigious 2016 Emory Entrepreneur Award.


Phil Kim is a co-founder of Michelson Runway Accelerator and former President of the Michelson 20MM Foundation where he built a new social impact platform investing in seed stage educational technology startups. In addition to his work at 20MM, he oversees early stage investments at Karlin Asset Management (an investment firm with $1.4 billion in capital under management).

Phil received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Princeton University. He is actively engaged as a mentor in the entrepreneurship programs at Wharton, MIT, and Stanford.



Chris Shafer has co-founded several companies with innovative business models. As a founder he has secured major motion picture studios as clients, partnerships with Fortune 500 companies, and outside investment by engaging executives, startup leadership, and venture capitalists.

Chris received a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern California. He is a published scientific author in the field of neuroscience and a black belt in mixed martial arts.
